President Anura Kumara to Attend Nuwara Eliya Rally

A special May Day rally will be held in Nuwara Eliya, bringing together estate workers from the hill country. Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to attend this event.

In addition:

  • People from Badulla District will join the Nuwara Eliya rally
  • Kilinochchi residents will participate in the Jaffna event
  • Mullaitivu and Mannar residents will gather in Vavuniya for a regional rally

This marks the first time in Sri Lanka’s May Day history that a single political party is organizing rallies and processions simultaneously across 21 districts. Organizers expect massive public participation across the island.
