The information reportedly emerged during an investigation launched after authorities seized a mobile phone from the imprisoned suspect, who is believed to be linked to drug smuggling operations.
During a detailed forensic examination of the device, investigators allegedly identified the call records connecting the suspect and the parliamentarian.
