Trump Walks Out of White House Meeting on Iran War Talks.

Tensions rise as Trump rejects Iran’s demands during crucial peace negotiations.

The United States failed to reach a firm decision on ending tensions with Iran during a high-level meeting held at the White House. Frustration grew inside the meeting after disagreements surfaced over financial conditions linked to the proposed peace process. As a result, US President Donald Trump walked out of the discussion before officials concluded the session.

Iran Demands Release of Frozen Assets.

Qatar helped prepare a draft agreement for a temporary ceasefire, and both countries initially accepted the proposal. American officials gathered at the White House yesterday to finalize the next stage of the arrangement. During the meeting, Iran insisted that the United States immediately release half of its frozen overseas assets before peace negotiations could continue.

Iran demanded the release of assets worth nearly 1.14 lakh crore rupees from the total 2.28 lakh crore rupees currently blocked abroad. The demand created tension inside the meeting room and triggered a sharp reaction from Trump.

Major Disagreements Continue to Block Peace.

Trump strongly rejected the condition and announced that the United States would not transfer any money to Iran until further notice. His decision exposed the widening gap between Washington and Tehran over key regional and security issues.

Serious disagreements also continue over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear programme. International political analysts believe these unresolved disputes could delay any long-term peace agreement in West Asia.
