A passenger bus traveling along the Galle–Colombo main road crashed into a wall in the Dadalla area of Galle on the morning of June 4, leaving three people seriously injured.

The bus operated on the Hambantota to Colombo route at the time of the accident. Reports confirmed that nearly 20 passengers traveled on board when the crash occurred. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured individuals to the hospital for treatment.

Driver Fatigue Causes Accident.

Initial investigations revealed that the driver fell asleep while driving near the Dadalla area. As a result, he lost control of the vehicle, causing the bus to veer off the road and slam into a nearby wall.

Police officers in Galle immediately launched an investigation to determine further details surrounding the incident. Authorities also inspected the condition of the vehicle and questioned passengers who witnessed the crash.
